Hello Antioch Church! It’s an exciting time to be a part of Antioch! There are so many great things happening.
My main reason for writing you this month is to encourage you to “CONNECT” to what God is doing in our midst and to celebrate some things that have already been placed in motion. God is doing some amazing things. Many of you are well underway in the “GROW” part of the vision. You have done this by joining our Life Groups and building strong, authentic relationships, thus allowing God to mature you in your spiritual walk with Him. Currently, with children, students and adults, we have launched well over 1,000 people in Life Groups!! That’s amazing and we are so excited this has taken place. This last Impact Weekend, September 12th & 13th, God did some amazing things, as we saw 42 people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Many of these new converts have signed up for our Alpha Xpress class to further learn what it’s like to have a relationship with Jesus. I encourage you to “connect” with God and Antioch Church at not only our weekend services, but to be a part of our Worship & Prayer services on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7 PM in the auditorium. If you haven’t attended one of these as yet, I dare ya’ to try it out! The combination of Worship and Prayer makes for a powerful time with God!!! Come with an expectation and, I promise you, God will do something great in your life at these services.
It is so important for each of us to continually grow in our relationship with God. Let’s not get caught up in coming to church as merely a “tradition” – but when we come, let’s all come with an expectation that God will impart something fresh each time we gather together! In Hebrews 11:6, we are reminded that . . . .”He is a rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek him (out).” I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to do anything that would be out of step with God! God wants to reward us. He wants us to be blessed, and he said in His Word if we are diligently seeking Him, He will reward us!! What a promise! Seek God each day and watch Him do things in your life you never thought possible.
Thank you Antioch Church for being who you are!! I count it an honor and privilege to do church with each one of you. We couldn’t do it without you!! I honestly believe God not only has something great in store for this church, but He has something great in store for each person at Antioch as we seek Him! I pray God’s blessing upon each one of you. My prayer for you is found in 3rd John 1:2 . . . .”Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and (that your body) may keep well, even as (I know) your soul keeps well and prospers.”
You are the best!!! Invite a friend this week to church.
