Prayer Focus: Antioch Church Staff

Ephesians 4: 11-16 NIV
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

We are all a part of the Body of Christ and today our prayer focus is the Antioch Staff. The Antioch Staff has a desire to see the Antioch Church Body to have Breakthrough and to walk intimately with Christ. We are believing for a greater anointing for the Antioch Staff, and to be refreshed in Spirit. We are believing for spiritual downloads, and that the Holy Spirit would move even stronger. We are believing for wisdom and discernment as the staff leads others and makes decisions for the Antioch Church Body. We believe that the path would be clear, steps would be ordered, and doors would be open! That this would be a year of Breakthrough for the Antioch Church Body.

So as we agree together, I pray that the Holy Spirit speaks to you and downloads into your spirit. I encourage you to keep on pressing in, and quieting yourself to hear His voice, and see the doors he is opening for you today!

2012 – Antioch Church prayer & fasting ”The Power Of Us All” Day 5

Prayer Focus: 213 Kidz

The Scripture for 213Kidz is Philippians 2:13; For God is working in you giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him. God is at work in the lives and hearts of the children here at Antioch Church. Each child that walks through our doors, each week, has been created with a great unique purpose. It is so important that as a church we surround them and lift them up in prayer. They are the not only the future of the church, but the present. And we need to speak the hand of the Lord move in their lives in a way that they experience him intimately.

If you are a parent, Deuteronomy chapter 6 instructs you how to train up your child. You are instructed to talk about the things of the Lord at all times and to impress the things of the Lord upon their hearts. Children spend thousands of hours with their parents each year, compared to the few they will spend at church. We need to be diligent to do what is required of us with the precious gifts God has given us. It is time to speak His promises over our children with faith. Proverbs 18:21 says “The tongue can bring death or life;…” Speak life over your children. Pray for them over every area of their life, present and future. And teach them how to pray and speak life.

The theme of this fast is “The Power of Us All”, so lets agree together for the children of 213Kidz. As these children face so many indescribable challenges in their small worlds, lets agree together for protection over their hearts, minds, and bodies. Let’s agree together for wisdom and discernment as they make decisions every day. Let’s agree that they will move in their “child-like” faith, and see God perform miracles in their lives, and they would have unlimited expectations of God’s power. Let’s agree for an amazing anointing over all those who serve in 213Kidz and invest into the lives of these kids, and that God would work through them. Let’s agree that these children will continue to grow in the intimate knowledge of Christ, empowered to take that message of love into a hurting world.
