A little Q&A

What can I expect?

At Antioch Church, the #1 thing you can expect while attending is to experience a genuine connection with God. It is our goal to provide an atmosphere that allows you to do just that. We believe in expressing our love for Jesus Christ, and being a light in a dark world. Our weekly services include powerful worship and messages founded on scripture. We see our relationship with Jesus Christ as alive and active, and our worship times are the same!

To us, you are a Guest, not a visitor. A visitor is someone who just stops by unexpectedly. However, a Guest is someone we prepare for, someone we have been expecting and are excited to see!

We know it can be a little overwhelming to walk through the doors of a church for the first time. We’ll do everything possible to make you feel welcome, connected, and at home.

Will I have to sign up for anything or be singled out in any way?

NO! Our desire is for you to have a great experience. We would never ask you to do anything outrageous.

We would love to make a personal connection with you though. When you are in service you’ll see a Connection card located in our seats. These are a great way to get things rolling and help us get to know you. Following service you can simply take this card to our Guest Center where some amazing people can help answer any questions you might have.

If you don’t want to fill out the card, you can text ‘AntiochKC‘ to 97000 to make a quick connection.

What can my kids expect?

Your kids will experience worship, prayer, and biblical teaching in a supercharged atmosphere geared toward their age! We love kids so much and believe they have the ability to have a personal relationship with Jesus. We want nothing more than to help you, as a parent, point them towards Him!

Who will be with the kids?

Our kids ministry is overseen by an amazing pastor and staffed with well trained volunteers that are dedicated to making their experience memorable.

We take safety and security seriously. All of our staff and volunteers undergo a background check.

Before entering the kids service, all kids must be checked in by a parent or guardian through our attendance system. A name tag will be printed out for each child along with a unique security code that must be presented to the Check-out Team when leaving service.

I have older kids. Where will they go?

Middle School (6th-8th) – Sundays at 9:00am all Middle School students gather for a service geared specifically for them! This time includes worship, solid biblcal taching, group dicussions, and of course some fun!

High School (9th-12th) – On the 1st Sunday of each month we have a gathering for the High School students. Following worship in the main sanctuary, they are dismissed and gather together for teaching, group discussions, and discipleship.

What are the messages like?

The messages that are presented are full of God’s Word (the Bible) and will be applicable to your everyday life. Our desire is to deliver a Bible-based message that is both insightful and relevant to today’s society. At times you may see us use creative means of communication including video, drama, and visual illustrations to aid in our presentation. To get a preview of our services, head over to our Media Center and listen to some of our most current messages.
